Why choose Bejewelled
From Founder, Melissa Doussey

Hello and welcome the The Bejewelled Academy. I am a Hackney-born mother of 3, who started this company in 2010, out of a passion for using my creativity to teach others! My team and I have worked with local authorities in and around London and have enjoyed helping children, young people and adults develop their skills while boosting their self-belief in the ability to create something from little or nothing! We are current suppliers to Camden Council and have worked with them for over 12 years, facilitating creative and business skills workshops to young people.

I also currently manage an Inclusion Programme, which aims to transition young people back into mainstream education through mentoring, behaviour management and bespoke education support in Maths and English language at secondary key stages 3 and 4.

At The Bejewelled Academy, we believe that education should be as diverse as the individuals who seek it. Our courses are designed to ignite motivation and build confidence in learners of all ages and abilities - recognizing that everyone has a unique way of learning. By connecting education to everyday life, work, and business, we empower our students  in their personal and professional journeys. Join us in embracing alternative forms of education that cater to a range of learning needs!

WORKING WITH YOUR local authority

"This is a great course offering a younger age group an opportunity to learn financial and marketing skills not offered in schools. This course starts the conversation with kids about careers whilst focusing on numeracy, literacy and communication skills. Kids gain confidence to speak and articulate their ideas and learn to work collaboratively. It's made fun and engaging and always popular."
